The Matador Club is excited to announce the Bigger and Brighter Matador Club documentary series. The first three episodes tell the stories of Texas Tech men’s basketball player Joe Toussaint, Lady Raider basketball’s Bailey Maupin, and the starting quarterback for the Red Raiders, Behren Morton. Each episode takes viewers through the lives of these student-athletes as they prepare for games, attend classes, train in the off-season, and make time for family and friends, all while representing a premier university on some of the largest stages in sports.

Behren Morton

When Behren Morton signed to play at Texas Tech, he became Texas Tech's highest-rated QB recruit ever. This season, he's ready to lead this team as QB1.

In the final installment of Bigger and Brighter: A Matador Club Documentary Series, Behren looks back at last season's successes and struggles while giving us an inside view of the offseason for Texas Tech football. As we enter the third year of the Joey McGuire era, Behren understands the expectations and is ready to lead this team at "The Guy."

Joe Toussaint

When Texas Tech Men’s Basketball guard Joe Toussaint looks at his teammates, he sees himself. He sees underdogs who have been counted out. He sees fighters willing to do anything to get better. Toussaint embodies the mentality of a Red Raider, and he’s exactly the type of player first-year head coach Grant McCasland sees as critical to building a new program around.

In the premier episode of Bigger and Brighter, The Matador Club takes you inside Toussaint’s journey to Lubbock, his training, his routine, and how he became an anchor of a Red Raider team eager to prove themselves.

Bailey Maupin

Bailey’s joy for basketball sparked at an early age while growing up in Gruver, TX. The culture and community of her panhandle home made her who she is today: West Texas Tough.

Fueled by her passion for the game, Bailey's leadership on the court is impossible to miss. Beyond the game, Bailey embraces her role as a beacon of inspiration to the kids in the stands who cheer her on week in and week out. Bigger and Brighter: A Matador Club Documentary series is a testament to Bailey’s dedication, love for the game, and her impact on West Texas basketball.
